Billie Eilish Confesses to Creating a Vulgar Lunch Song Before Realizing She Likes Others
Know Your Idol – At the recent Coachella event, Billie Eilish surprised fans. He sang “Lunch”, one of the songs that will be included in his new album which will be released next May, Hit Me Hard and Soft. The lyrics of “Lunch” made many people’s eyebrows raise. The reason is, the sentences contained in it are considered vulgar, containing metaphors regarding sexually suggestive activities with women.
“I could eat that girl for lunch. And she dances on my tongue. Tastes like she might be the one” is the quote from this song.
Not surprisingly, this song was later linked to his younger brother Finneas’ confession some time ago that he likes people of the same sex. This 22 year old woman does not deny that “Lunch” played a big role in her search for identity.
“That song is partly what helped me realize who I really am, to be honest,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone, as reported by People, Thursday (25/4/2024).
However, he emphasized that he started writing this song when he was not yet aware of his sexual orientation. “I wrote part of the song before I did anything with the girls, and then I wrote the rest after that,” Billie Eilish continued.

“I really love them. I love them as people. And I’m really interested in them,” he said in the interview. “I’m physically attracted to them. But also intimidated by their beauty and presence,” Billie Eilish added.
