Know Your IdolKate Middleton has not seen the public in person for half a year because she is undergoing cancer treatment. Not infrequently, he is a figure that people often ask about when members of the British Royal Family greet the public during their official visits. Including when her husband, Prince William, attended a commemoration event for the D-Day Landings, the largest seaborne invasion in history in World War II where Britain was part of the Allies.

In this event, a war veteran asked Prince William whether Kate Middleton’s condition was getting better.

“Yes. “She (Kate Middleton) would be very happy if she could be here,” said Prince William.

The veteran then replied, “thank goodness.”

This is not the first time Kate Middleton’s condition has been asked about Prince William, who is carrying out public duties. While visiting the Isles of Sicily in early May, a hospital employee asked about the Princess of Wales.

“He’s fine, thank you,” said Prince William.

“Is it good that the children are also (well)?” the hospital employee asked again.

“The children are really jealous that I’m here and they’re not,” answered the eldest son of King Charles III kindly FOR4D.

It was suspected that he would return to work

At the end of May, speculation emerged that Kate Middleton would return to work in the near future. The originator was a charity movement initiated by the Princess of Wales showing the latest activities. The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood recently released a report on its work plans.

The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood was formed by Kate Middleton in 2021, to raise awareness about the importance of child development at an early age. On May 21, a number of companies in Britain announced their support for this movement.

Still Waiting for the Green Light

However, this speculation was denied by representatives of Kensington Palace. A Palace spokesperson said that although Kate Middleton is really enthusiastic about the work of this movement, she is currently not actively involved in it.

“This (movement) is a real commitment that he has made, that throughout his social service journey, this will always be his focus. “This will continue when he starts returning to work,” said a Palace representative to the Daily Mail, as reported by US Weekly FOR4D.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson continued, “At this time we have always made it clear that (Kate Middleton) now needs space and privacy to recover. He will return to work once he gets the green light from the doctors.”

Trooping The Colour

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is certain to be absent from the Trooping the Color event on June 15. However, his father-in-law, King Charles III, will still be present with a number of changes. The King did not ride a horse like in previous years. King Charles will ride in a horse-drawn carriage with Queen Camilla.
