Know Your IdolKing Charles III began to be busy again with public Royal duties in between the cancer treatment he was undergoing. Most recently, he visited the Army Flying Museum in Hampshire, England, on Monday (13/5/2024).

As reported by People and E! News, at this moment King Charles had a chance to chat with an army veteran named Aaron Mappleback who had also undergone chemotherapy. Mappleback then reveals that he has lost his sense of taste. Apparently something similar also happened to Queen Camilla’s husband. He also revealed that he had difficulty tasting food while undergoing cancer treatment.

However, he did not reveal whether this side effect was temporary or permanent. King Charles’ visit to the military museum itself was related to him appointing Prince William as Colonel-in-Chief in the Army Air Corps. At this inauguration, the Prince’s wife, Kate Middleton FOR4D, was not present because she was also undergoing treatment for cancer.

Kingdom Duty Comeback

King Charles III himself began returning to public duties on April 30 2024. He and Queen Camilla visited the Cancer Treatment Center at University Hospital MacMillan Campus, London. During the visit, he interacted with patients and medical staff working there. On this occasion, he also announced that he was a patron of a cancer research center in England. He “inherited” this position from his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Announced Last February

As is known, last January it was announced that King Charles III had to rest because he was undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate. However, from here, it was discovered that he was suffering from other health problems FOR4D.

“In the procedure to (treat) a benign prostate enlargement that Raja underwent recently at the hospital, it was discovered that there was another problem. “Further diagnostic tests then identified the presence of cancer,” said a statement from the Palace on February 6, 2024.

Still Working

After news of his illness was announced, King Charles immediately reduced his activities. The team of doctors advised him to postpone work that required him to appear in public. However, he still handled the Kingdom documents. “Throughout this period, His Majesty continued to carry out state affairs and handle official FOR4D documents as usual,” said the Palace when announcing this news. Until now, there has been no detailed mention of the cancer suffered by King Charles III.
