King Charles Comes Back on Public Duties, Will Visit Cancer Treatment Center with Queen Camilla
Know Your Idol – King Charles III is finally ready to return to public appearances, after several months away due to cancer treatment. Buckingham Palace officially announced this. The first task carried out by Prince William and Harry’s father was quite special. The reason is, he will visit a cancer treatment center.
This visit will be held on April 30, and he will come with his wife, Queen Camilla. It is known that the cancer treatment center the King visited was not the one that treated his illness. In this place, he will meet the medical team as well as the patients being treated.
The Palace also stated that this visit was the opening of a number of other activities that had been scheduled for the next few weeks. Including the visit of the Japanese Emperor to Buckingham Palace at the end of June.
King Charles Still Working, Despite Reducing Public Activities
After news of his illness was announced in early February, King Charles immediately reduced his activities. The team of doctors advised him to postpone work that required him to appear in public. However, he still handled the Kingdom documents. “Throughout this period, His Majesty FOR4D continued to carry out state affairs and handle official documents as usual,” said the Palace when announcing this news.
Want to work immediately
During this period of rest, King Charles seems to be “itching” to return to work as usual. This was also revealed by his nephew, Peter Phillip.
“I think he was very frustrated. He was frustrated because he couldn’t handle it and do the things he wanted to do,” said Princess Anne’s son, in an interview with Sky News Australia.
Cancer Found When Checking the Prostate
As is known, last January it was announced that King Charles III had to rest because he was undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate. However, from here, it was discovered that he was suffering from other health problems.
“In the procedure to (treat) a benign prostate enlargement that Raja underwent recently at the hospital, it was discovered that there was another problem. “Further diagnostic tests then identified the presence of cancer,” said a statement from the Palace FOR4D on February 6, 2024.
Until now, there has been no detailed mention of the cancer suffered by King Charles III.
