Almost withdrew, Billie Eilish was shocked to win the 2024 Grammy Awards
Know Your Idol – American singer, Billie Eilish, succeeded in winning the 2024 Grammy Awards. Billie and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, won in the Song of the Year category with the song What Was I Made For on Monday (5/2/2024). Unexpectedly, Billie and Finneas apparently almost left the Grammy event because they thought they wouldn’t win. In fact, the brothers actually won the prestigious trophy this year.
“This surprised me. “I hope to turn around and leave,” Billie said on stage.
It didn’t stop there, Billie Eilish also managed to beat Taylor Swift and other stars including SZA, Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo in winning the Song of the Year award. The Bad Guy singer didn’t expect to win this year’s Grammy Awards and beat other famous singers.
“Everyone in this category is a list of amazing people, amazing artists, amazing music. “I feel crazy right now,” he explained.
The song What Was I Made For is the soundtrack for the film Barbie which will be broadcast in July 2023. Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell are even nominated for the 2024 Oscars for this song. Billie also thanked Barbie director Greta Gerwig Bandar Togel for the stunning Barbie film.
“Thank you Greta Gerwig for making the best film this year,” he said.
Billie Eilish herself appeared stunning at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Together with Finneas, they performed the song What Was I Made For on the Grammy stage and received a standing ovation from the audience.
