Mike Tyson Opens His Voice After Experiencing Severe Dizziness and Nausea on the Plane

Know Your Idol – Mike Tyson gave an update regarding his health condition after experiencing severe nausea and dizziness on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, on May 26. He admitted that he was fine at the moment.

“Currently, my condition is 100 percent (good) so I don’t need to beat Jake Paul,” he said via the X account as quoted on Thursday (30/5/2024).

Previously, Mike Tyson’s representative said that the boxer experienced severe nausea and dizziness because his stomach ulcer recurred 30 minutes before the plane landed. However, his condition improved after receiving appropriate medical treatment.

“Tyson is very grateful to the medical staff who helped him at the airport,” said the 57-year-old boxer’s representative.

Mike Tyson also denied reports that said his flight had been delayed because his health condition had worsened. The representative said the delay was caused by a technical problem with the plane’s air conditioning.

Meanwhile, Mike Tyson, who retired from boxing in 2005, is certain to return to the ring against Jake Paul. The match will be held at the Stadium in Arlington FOR4D, Texas, United States, on July 20 2024.

This match attracted quite a lot of media and public attention considering their 30 year age difference. However, the former YouTuber said there was no problem with their age.

Jake Paul in his tweet at X said, “You really like to make up stories before knowing the real facts. There are no changes to the match schedule.” Along with the post he added the hashtag ‘PaulTyson’.

On the other hand, Mike admitted that he accepted the challenge of a fist fight with Jake, who he called a ‘newcomer’, because he wanted to have fun in the ring. “I just want to do this,” he said at a press conference in early May 2024.
