Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner Officially Divorced after Waiting 9 Months
Know Your Idol – Kevin Costner and his wife, Christine Baumgartner, finally officially divorced after nine months of their divorce case going to court.
On Tuesday (20/2/2024), a court in Santa Barbara County issued a record of the official end of the couple’s two-decade marriage.
The court decision was issued on Friday (16/2/2024). Meanwhile, Baumgartner’s divorce suit against Costner has been filed since May last year. In the first months after their separation, Costner and Baumgartner “battled” in court over child custody as well as alimony payments.
Their agreement went a long way, until finally in September 2024 the couple managed to find a solution. The results of the agreement revealed that Costner and his ex-wife were given joint custody of their sons, aged 16 and 15, and a daughter who was 13 years old. The judge also ordered Costner to pay $63,000.
