Renowned filmmaker, Derek Connolly, was recruited to be involved in the G.I. Joe – This Transformer. Derek Connolly was appointed as the screenwriter for G.I. Joe – Transformers. Previously, Derek Connolly was known to have worked on scripts for the films Jurassic World and Detective Pikachu.

Previous news, G.I. Joe – Transformers has appointed Chris Hemsworth as its main star. Apart from that, the official title for this film has not yet been determined by the production house and main distributor, Paramount. Apart from that, Paramount has not explained at all what kind of concept will be presented at the G.I. Joe and the Transformers. In previous films, both parties had never been found at all.

The crossover film G.I. Joe – Transformers will bring together two big franchises or franchises that originally came from toys produced by the well-known brand, Hasbro. Rumors are circulating that a collaborative film between Transformers and G.I. Joe will unite the Autobots team and the G.I team FOR4D. Joe fights their mortal enemies who are also allied, namely the Decepticons and the terrorist organization Cobra.

Has a connection to the film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Although it is not yet known what the meeting between the Transformers and G.I. Joe, but this film will have a common thread with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. At the end of the film, the main character, Noah, returns to Brooklyn after saving the world. When applying for a job as a security officer at a government agency, he received a business card on the back that said G.I. Joe. Regarding this, the producer of the film Rise of the Beasts, Lorenzo di Bonaventura FOR4D, had this to say.

“Noah went from someone who couldn’t get a job, to a guy who got the greatest job ever. “It felt organic to put it here, because you can connect it to the story,” Lorenzo di Bonaventura told Variety recently.

“It doesn’t feel like we’re being cynical and like, ‘Good news, we can just stop G.I. Joes are here.’ The fans want a lot of things; if we do it and we don’t understand it well, they will be disappointed. “It took us a while to understand the Maximals (the robot animals in the film), and now we have a clue how to start the Joes story,” he continued.
