Actor Shia LaBeouf, who is widely known as the main character of the Transformers films, has not been seen at various film events such as gala premieres or red carpets for quite a long time. However, this year, Shia LaBeouf is back in public.

The event that became the momentum for the actor’s first comeback to the general public was the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in the context of the gala premiere of his new film, Megalopolis. Shia LaBeouf appeared at the event which took place in France, wearing a tuxedo with dyed blonde hair. Shia LaBeouf was not alone because he came with his fellow actors who played in the new film.
Seen accompanying Shia LaBeouf at the Megalopolis premiere gala were Adam Driver, Aubrey Plaza, Laurence Fishburne, Grace VanderWaal, Giancarlo Esposito, and Jon Voight. The writer and director of the film Megalopolis, Francis Ford Coppola, was also present on the red carpet.
Shia LaBeouf’s Last Red Carpet Appearance
Shia LaBeouf was last seen on the red carpet at the 92nd annual Academy Awards on February 9 2020, to present the Oscar nomination for Best Live Action Short Film with his partner in the film Peanut Butter Falcon, Zack Gottsagen. In the same year, Shia LaBeouf’s biopic film entitled Padre Pio FOR4D was released. However, a month later, the actor was reported by his ex-girlfriend, FKA Twigs, for alleged ‘sexual harassment and violence’. In February 2021, after the film star Fury received these accusations, he underwent treatment for his often unstable emotional condition. LaBeouf then parted ways with his agency, CAA, and decided to take a break from acting.
