Jonathan Majors Fired by Marvel, The Avengers Kang Dynasty Project Fails Totally
Know Your Idol – Jonathan Majors was found guilty of violence and confiding in his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. As a result of this, Marvel then fired Jonathan Majors from the role of Kang. This is the toughest sanction given by the company to the actor Kang the Conqueror in the film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania.
A day earlier, a Manhattan judge found Majors guilty of assault and harassment against his ex, Grace Jabbari. After 2 weeks of trial, Majors was finally found guilty of two of the four counts of domestic violence.
Majors himself plays one of the key figures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios will likely rebuild the entire story around Majors’ Kang the Conqueror. Or another option, the company might look for a new cast.
As compiled by the Hollywood Reporter, Tuesday (18/12/2023), Marvel Studios itself has not yet commented on its future plans. But there are indications that Marvel Studios will actually do this.
In November 2023, Marvel Studios has hired Loki creator Michael Waldron to work on a new draft of what was then called Kang Dynasty, now known as Avengers 5. It is likely that the studio will reprise the role of Kang the Conqueror.
For your information, this is actually not the first time this has happened to Marvel Studios. Previously, the company had also undergone an overhaul, but not because of legal issues, but because of creative and financial disputes.
