Drake’s Luxury House Flooded, Water Flows Fast Inside
Know Your Idol – It turns out that rapper Drake’s luxury house was also affected by flooding, with water flowing fast in every corner of one of the rooms in his house. This happened after Toronto, Canada experienced a heavy rainstorm where the rainfall and water intensity increased drastically. Thus, several areas were flooded, such as Drake’s house.
The rapper also shared the conditions inside his luxury home in Toronto which was flooded. Through his Instagram Story, Drake recorded a man pushing a glass door as flowing water continued to flow rapidly filling every corner of the room. The flow of water could be seen reaching up to the man’s ankles.
Drake, who was filming with his cellphone, was seen going around the room holding a broom to push the water out of his house. However, it seemed that Draka’s efforts were in vain because the water continued to flow rapidly into his house. Drake’s sweep was unable to dispel the fast flowing water.
However, Drake seemed relaxed when facing the flood at his home in Toronto. He captioned the video with a joking tone, ‘This should be an Espresso Martini’. Drake’s luxury home has an area of 50,000 square feet. The construction of this house was conceptualized by Drake himself with Canadian architectural and interior designer Ferris Rafauli.
The residence features a great room with 40-foot ceilings, exotic wood floors, a limestone entryway, and an indoor basketball court that is sized to meet NBA regulations. Drake himself hopes that his luxury residence can continue to stand strong for 100 years.
“Because I built it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand strong for 100 years. I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel,” Drake told Architectural Digest in 2020.
