Robert Downey Jr. As Doctor Doom, is Considered Suitable for Wearing a Green Robe
Know Your Idol – The International Comic Con event which was held in San Diego, United States last weekend, succeeded in making Marvel fans excited. The reason is that Robert Downey Jr returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after “killing” as Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame. However, he no longer wears the iconic figure’s distinctive red uniform. This time he wore Victor von Doom’s or Doctor Doom’s green robe.
“New mask, same job,” said Robert Downey Jr during a surprise appearance at a Comic-Con panel.
“Did I say? I like playing complicated characters,” he said again.
Fan reaction? Don’t ask. They are excited about all kinds of pros and cons regarding the actor’s return to the MCU universe. But it’s not just fans, Marvel stars are also excited about this news. Gwyneth Paltrow who plays Iron Man’s lover Pepper Potts commented nosy about this announcement.
“I don’t understand, are you a criminal now?” he wrote in the comments column.
Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo, who plays Hulk aka Bruce Banner, wrote, “Hey, you suit green.” Meanwhile, The Russo Brothers, who will return to direct Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU, also commented, “We always say that green is your color.”

Florence Pugh actually came to Comic Con on the same day as Robert Downey Jr, but she hurriedly left the event location when the announcement was made. The actor who plays Yelena Belova in Black Widow said, “I didn’t see this. It must have been really exciting there,” she said.
