Bella Hadid’s Father Satirizes Joe Biden After The United States Abstained From The Ceasefire Resolution in Gaza: Congratulations, Mr President
Know Your Idol – Mohamed Hadid, father of Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, is still intense in speaking out in condemning the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip which has caused suffering to Palestinian civilians. Bella Hadid’s father’s social media posts don’t seem to stop talking about this.
Most recently, the UN Security Council (DK) on Monday (25/3/2024), demanded an immediate ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian militant group, Hamas in Gaza, as well as the unconditional and unconditional release of all hostages.
Unfortunately, the United States (US) government decided to abstain from voting on the DK resolution. This is what makes Mohamed Hadid angry. Bella Hadid’s father also made strong insinuations at the President of the United States, Joe Biden.
In the latest upload on the Instagram account @mohamedhadid, Mohamed Hadid can be seen expressing his anger by uploading a photo of Joe Biden from one of the United States media with a quote stating that the US still supports Israel’s military attack on Gaza.
Quotes That Make Bella Hadid’s Father Furious
In the quote, it said, “Biden has continued to fund, arm, and protect Israel’s genocide with ‘full knowledge’ that ‘Israel is violating international law.”
Even though he was furious FOR4D, Mohamed Hadid still responded to the news with a cool head. However, he still satirized the figure of Joe Biden in the uploaded photo.
“The President of Israel and the Zionist organization’s crime family…congratulations Mr President…,” wrote Mohamed Hadid.
Support for UNSC Resolutions
On the other hand, 14 other UN Security Council member countries have voted in favor of the resolution proposed by the 10 non-permanent member countries of the council.
But amid growing global pressure for a ceasefire in the war that has killed at least 32,000 Palestinians, the US abstained from voting on Monday.
The US decision allows the UNSC to demand an immediate ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan, which ends in two weeks.
US Rejects Ceasefire Term
On various previous occasions, the US rejected the term “ceasefire” in the war in the Gaza Strip which has been going on for almost six months.
The US also used its veto power to protect Israel, a close US ally, in its efforts to retaliate against the Hamas attack on October 7 2023 which Israel said killed 1,200 people.
Demand the unconditional release of all hostages
The UNSC also demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. Israel says Hamas kidnapped 253 people in the Oct. 7 attack.
The UNSC resolution also emphasizes the urgent need to expand the flow of humanitarian aid, strengthen the protection of civilians throughout the Gaza Strip, and reiterates its demand to remove all obstacles to the provision of humanitarian aid on a large scale.
Shortly before the UNSC meeting began, Israeli military radio reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu FOR4D would cancel sending an Israeli delegation to Washington if the US did not veto the UNSC resolution.
