Justin Timberlake Returns to World Tour, Tickets Starting February 2
Know Your Idol – Justin Timberlake will return to the stage on tour. This announcement came a few days after he confirmed that he would comeback this year with a new album. Timberlake conveyed this news when he was a guest star on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. It all started when Fallon tried to ask Timberlake if the musician had any news to announce. However, JT only said he would release a new album.
However, Fallon tried to dig deeper into whether Justin Timberlake had prepared something special for his fans on the musician’s website.
“What’s going on here?” asked Justin Timberlake, surprised by Fallon’s question. JT was then shown Fallon writing on a card.
“Oh that, I’m going on tour,” he said, which was greeted with hysteria from the audience.
The Hollywood Reporter said that Justin Timberlake’s tour will be entitled The Forget Tomorrow World Tour which will start on April 29 in Vancouver, Canada. Justin Timberlake will also increase the number of stops, including in several cities in the United States such as Seattle, Washington DC, as tickets will go on sale from February 2.
“That’s a lot of concerts,” said Justin Timberlake after Fallon named the cities the tour would visit.
This tour is the first after Justin Timberlake last toured in 2018-2019 through The Man of the Woods Tour which toured Europe and North America. Meanwhile, the last time Justin Timberlake held a world-scale tour was in 2013-2015 through The 20/20 Experience World Tour which visited Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania.
Justin Timberlake previously officially made a comeback after not releasing new music for 6 years since the album Man of the Woods in 2018. Justin released the song Selfish on Thursday (25/1). The song Selfish is the opening act for his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, which is planned to be released on March 15 2023.
In this song which still combines pop and R&B, Justin Timberlake appears with a more mature vocal color even though it feels different from his previous vocals.
Even so, in the Selfish video clip, Justin Timberlake still shows off his dancing skills even though he is now 42 years old.
